Cooltown Studios is a blog covering the field of triple-bottom-line and crowdsourced placemaking since 2003. This site features over 1700 entries in a variety of categories, as you can see in the right column.
The author is Neil Takemoto, cofounder of the CSPM Group, a crowdsourced placemaking consultant for triple-bottom-line destinations, including primary programs Bristol Rising, Bristol, CT; Source the Station and Destination LI, both in Long Island, NY; and supportive programs Visualize Nashua, NH and Renew Hempstead, NY. He is also the founder of a few nascent initiatives seeking volunteers and contributors, including the Network for Crowdsourced Placemaking, a not-for-profit for the field highlighting all crowdsourced placemaking projects; and Micro Big Living, a blog and library of micro-unit developments and ideas.
