- I Am Young Detroit - Kicking off in Detroit, I Am Young America is a social venture that promotes entrepreneurs through personal stories and assistance.
- Detroit Live Downtown Program - New homeowners receive up to $20,000 forgivable loan; new renters receive $2500 toward the cost of their apartment in the first year, $1000 the second year; existing renters receive $1000 for renewing a lease; existing homeowners receive matching funds of up to $5000 for exterior improvements for projects of $10,000 or more.
- Detroit Future City - A nonprofit that produced and manages the Detroit Future City Strategic Framework intended to serve as a guide for reshaping the city over the next 50 years.

Community Development Advocates of Detroit (CDAD) - Serving as the trade association for nonprofit, community-based development organizations in Detroit, providing over $250 million in economic development, 3500 new or rehabilitated units of affordable housing and over 600,000 s.f. of new or renovated commercial retail space.
